World’s top-ranked parashuttler from Odisha Pramod Bhagat received his invite for his first Paralympics scheduled to be played in Tokyo 2021. He received the invite today from the Badminton World Federation.This also is the first-time badminton as a sport is being introduced in the Paralympics.
At the recently concluded Dubai Para Tournament, Pramod won two gold and one bronze medals.
Commenting on the same Pramod Bhagat said, “I am very excited to be invited, every athlete dreams of participating in the Olympics and it is the same for me.”
“I am very focused and winning a gold at the Paralympics is my dream and I have been training very hard to achieve this,” he concluded.
