The farmers can now get answers for agriculture-related queries through a toll-free service by Ama Krushi under Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment.
To get free agricultural information, farmers can reach to the agriculture experts at the farmer call centers by giving a missed call to 0674-6667171 number, who will provide solutions and advice to their queries, a Krushi Bibhag Odisha tweet said.
Meanwhile, the farmers will basically get expert, customized advise on the crops and vegetables given below are:-
1.Paddy, cotton, and maize.
2. Groundnut, Green gram, and Black gram.
3. Tomatoes, brinjal, and Chilli.
4. Vegetables
5. And many other crops.
The Ama Krushi awareness program is undergoing in different villages of Odisha, to guide the farmers for better cultivation in the future.

Similarly, a voice from the field, Shri E Ram Prasad Rao, Farmer from Village-Pandia, Block Purushotampur, Ganjam was pleased after getting the advisory on Banana farming from Ama Krushi service.
Also, officials of Precious Agriculture for development conducted training for VAWs(Village Agricultural Workers), Progressive farmers and other officials on Ama Krushi in Jhumpura block, Keonjhar.
Precious Agriculture for development is a non-profit phone-based agricultural system that offers customized content to smallholder farmers in developing countries.
However, this toll-free number will gonna help the agriculture scientists to understand the problems faced by farmers closely.
