Odisha’s most popular tourist destination, wildlife sanctuary Bhitarkanika National Park will reopen for tourist from August 1, informed Hemant Panigrahi, field assistant of National Park.

The National Park was closed for three months, between May 1- July due to mating and nesting season of a crocodile.

As per sources, this year around 81 nests of crocodile were counted.
