School students of Udhampur visited the 15th Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on Wednesday and celebrated Raksha Bandhan with security personnel at Jammu and Kashmir.

As per Jammu links, on this occasion, along with tying rakhi the students sang a motivational song in the program.

With this, the student of Bhagya Bidya Mandir said, “the jawans are spending their whole day and night on the borders, not to make them feel alone we are here to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with them.

“As we stay far away from our house, we are very much happy after celebrating this special festival of brother and sister with these students and found ourselves better as well as motivated,” said one of the ITBP Jawan.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces of India, raised under the CRPF Act, for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith.

They are trained for civil medical camp, disaster management, and nuclear, biological and chemical disasters.
