Dukhisyama Dasa’s Krusna Lila in verge of extinction

Guru Haribandhu Reddy (pictured) and Guru Somanatha Sahu present 19th-century poet Dukhisyama Dasa’s Krusna Lila.

Once upon a time very popular in Ganjam, the original performance was split into 48 parts performed over an entire year. Now, it is as good as dead.

This performance was organised in Bhavan’s Bhubaneswar with the help of the young Guru Somanatha Swain of Budhamba.

let’s try to revive this Golden Art which is in the verge of extinction.
