Sudarsan spreads beautiful message on ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’

Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik sculpted another magnificent sand sculpture at Puri sea beach on Sunday with a beautiful message, ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’.

Pattnaik took his twitter handle and has shared his sand art, creating a mural of India map which has Pagadi (It specifically refers to a headdress that is worn by men) with a print of national flag of India, tied on head, holding on palm of hand.

Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat was announced by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 2015, October 31, on the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. 

This programme aims to actively enhance interaction between people of diverse cultures living in different States and UTs in India, with the objective of promoting greater mutual understanding amongst them.

Every year it is envisaged through this exchange, that the knowledge of the language, culture, traditions and practices of different states will lead to an enhanced understanding and bonding between one another, thereby strengthening the unity and integrity of India.
