NEW STRAIN OF CORONA VIRUS SEIZES CHRISTMAS RINGING BELLS IN UK

The grand celebrations plannings of the arriving Christmas is stopped in the UK. After Prime Minister Boris Johnson announcement about a highly infectious new strain of corona virus has been detected in the present times in The United Kingdom. It has emerged as a serious threat needed to be properly managed to save many precious lives. Observing this sensitive situation Johnson cancelled the Christmas plans for millions of British people safety. At the same time, he informed people that there was no evidence found that this detected strain of corona virus is more dangerous than all the previous strains found before it.

This new mutate variant of corona virus strain contains 23 different changes. Many of them are linked with alterations in a protein made by the virus. This new variant strain of the virus is already detected in London and Southern England. As said by Boris Johnson that this detected strain may possess up to 70% more transmissible chances than the old variant of the original strain of the virus.

No evidence till now is found which would suggest that the new strain of the virus is more lethal or causes more severe illness equally there’s no evidence about the vaccine ineffectiveness towards the new strain. Boris Johnson with a heavy heart during his press conference declared” As Prime Minister, it’s my duty to take difficult decisions to do what is right to protect the people of this country”, he also said, “we cannot continue with this Christmas as planned”. He asked the people living in the affected areas from where the new strain is detected not to mix with anyone outside their house and across the rest parts of the country in Christmas. He also confined rules that the meetings and get-togethers can be done among people of three households in the Christmas day and the will be no relaxations of these restrictions before 31st January. So people must not break the rules for the new year.

On receiving this threat call about the new strain of corona virus from the Prime Minister of UK, many countries currently banned the transport facilities inside and outside of the UK. Countries like Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Lativa, Lithuania, Luxembourgh, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey and now India also suspended flights. Even the country closest allies also cut down transpot ties due the fear of infections from the new strain of coronavirus. This situation is affecting the trading market of the country still this can be solved afterwards. At the present time the lives of millions of people are important. Boris Johnson took a good step by imposing restrictions we must say.
