As the incidences of mental health have shown an increasing trend in the aftermath of COVID 19, two Tele-MANAS Cells are made functional in Odisha, one at Mental Health Institute, SCB MCH, Cuttack and another at DMHP/DAC unit in the campus of MKCG MCH, Berhampur.
These Tele-MANAS Cells intent to provide psychological first aid, intervention & counselling services to the persons in psychological distress/stress/other concerns/suicidal intent or thought/mental illness/co-morbid chronic diseases through Help Line No – 14416.
Initially these Cells will function from 8 AM to 8 PM in all working days.
